I pledge to be present and listen to others. I pledge to step out of my comfort zone to ask a peer, “what is wrong.” I pledge to continuously educate myself on mental health and advocate on the behalf of others. I pledge to not judge and instead work to understand beyond what is on the surface. I pledge to be kind, and to stand up and fight for those who are weary for fighting for themselves. I pledge to show every individual I come in contact with that their life has meaning, purpose and power. I pledge to destigmatize the negative connotations associated with mental health by educating others and fostering more real, vulnerable conversations.
